Last night, Jupiter turned back, because the fight is not over.
Jupiter in Libra goes back to clash with Pluto and Uranus, diminished perhaps in power, but not in purpose.
Trying to balance the scales.
Justice takes time.
Jupiter’s retrograde lasts until the 9th of June, but by the middle of May He will have found his station/sticking point at 13/14 degrees and stay right there, as though an acupuncturist had paid him, until the middle of June.
Four months to work through issues that have already emerged regarding travel, ethnicity, law, religion, politics itself, regarding expansion.
What is fair?
It won’t be the same as it was.
We will not return to anything.
We may alter improve or destroy our civil rights, our living situation, our work life, our interpersonal relationships, our debt, our ethical quandary, but we will not go back.
It’s breathtaking how ordinary the extraordinary can feel,
and then the headache as you try to process, to find a filter or lens that calms, clarifies, contextualizes the new normal.
It won’t happen that way. No view of past actions fully accounts for the present time.
It’s a combination of Rhopalocera metamorphosis, and when a toddler knocks all the blocks down.
Don’t think for a moment that you don’t need a crisis, because you do, you absolutely do.
Who are you going to be when you come to it?
There is a heated uncertainty that promises failure, and delivers advantage and tragedy both.
It’s a bait and switch that is not only destructive, it’s also creative.
Right after you clean up this mess.
At the same time as you clean up this mess?
Yes. That’s it.
Jupiter in Libra is not only the scales of Justice, but the Law of Relationships.
There is already so much material to work with. Slow down. Look around. Dig in.
If you can… Perhaps not so much digging in until later on in the transit.
Speed is upon us, and if we do anything now, we careen.
~ Hurt is a part of life. To be honest, I think hurt is a part of happiness, that our definition of happiness has gotten very narrow lately, very nervous, a little afraid of this brawling, fabulous, unpredictable world.

The Full Moon Eclipse in Leo/Aquarius arrives on February 10, at 22 degrees
It looks brilliant, painful, potentially shocking even if you see it coming, and it kind of has everything…
Uranus, Saturn, and the Moon make a Grand Fire Trine.
Jupiter, The Sun, Moon, Jupiter and Uranus, make a Mystic Rectangle.
Mercury and Venus are each at 5 degrees Aquarius and Aries respectively, they sextile each other and send an inconjunct over to the North Node. Similarly, Pisces Chiron and Capricorn Pluto take on the Moon.
It’s not a Mercury retrograde though Merc in Aquarius/Uranus can feel like that, clarity through misunderstanding. Progress through delay.
Accidental opportunities, sudden response after significant delay, original thought. Fragmentation, as if we ourselves are puzzle pieces, and it is only by joining, only by the various shapes we take, that the story can be told. With arrivals and disappearances, with coming together and falling apart. With secrets that dissipate now that there is no one to tell them to, and songs that can finally be sung. A pebble, what amounts to nearly a stone of emotion lodged in your throat, cough it up and cry. The world that forced you to swallow it is a memory, and you are already becoming someone else. As yet unknowable, unknown.
With Mercury in Aquarius you will be able to see through walls, or in this context, perhaps the walls will be struck by lightning and burn to the ground. What seemed simple may turn out to be dense and difficult, requiring another strategy altogether. Unravel the pattern, and your X-ray eyes will take you further, deeper, waaay out, and far beyond, as the month progresses. Mercury keeps pace to sextile Venus, Mars, and Uranus
What vanishes now in the Eclipse is well and truly gone.
You must be free, unencumbered by what came before.
What breaks will not be put back together in the same shape.
Light-speed, or a rip in the fabric of space/time.
Get ready to be a hero, each in your own way.
The strange thing about all of this tumultuous Astrology is that there is tremendous support (Saturn in Sagittarius) for personal/political/and community growth. As harsh as Saturn is for the late degree mutable signs, (Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces that’s YOU,) and he is, for people who are brave enough to believe in a future and work for it, using (and this is the key) the structures available to them, that is, to work with, to revolutionize the nature of the structure, or to work with those in power, even against OTHER people in power, that’s where, and how you will succeed. Our legal systems, our rules and laws make themselves available.
This is a Saturn who is ruled by Jupiter. He ultimately wants freedom AND justice. He wants the highest outcome.
But be careful in the short term, because with Jupiter ruled by Venus, and Venus right now ruled by an Aries Mars, that freedom may come via independence/violence/war.
The emphasis on Mercury/Mars/Uranus in Aquarius is like the kick off, for this final push of our Virgo North Node.
You must do something! Practical if possible, work diligently as you fight for what you believe in. All this without losing your compassion! If only I were joking, but it sort of is a humorless sky.
To use the sky of the next three months, it takes tremendous humility and dedication.
When the North Node is in Virgo, the war is won by inches.
Our Virgo North Node lasts until the 10th of May, when it arrives at 29 Leo, to shift our highest good, from sacrifice and duty, to self-expression.
This is real, it is happening, with full awareness that the results of this Eclipse may not be easy, embrace it.
The future is here and you will have a chance to play your part.
~ It all matters. That someone turns out the lamp, picks up the windblown wrapper, says hello to the invalid, pays at the unattended lot, listens to the repeated tale, folds the abandoned laundry, plays the game fairly, tells the story honestly, acknowledges help, gives credit, says good night, resists temptation, wipes the counter, waits at the yellow, makes the bed, tips the maid, remembers the illness, congratulates the victor, accepts the consequences, takes a stand, steps up, offers a hand, goes first, goes last, chooses the small portion, teaches the child, tends to the dying, comforts the grieving, removes the splinter, wipes the tear, directs the lost, touches the lonely, is the whole thing. What is most beautiful is least acknowledged. What is worth dying for is barely noticed.
